Taking the ride at The Holroyd Gardens
There's something crazy about this weekend, a madness that drove the nation to wake up as early as 5 am to queue up for the Aldi catalogue sale. Mr Ng was awake before the crack of dawn, this is one of the weekend that we are actually early for gymnastic , we got dropped of at SGAC and was promised to get picked up later, he said he's going shopping at Aldi and i said wait for my list but he insist to just SMS it. There has been tears ,disappointment and broken promises, while for us it was an unexpected surprise. The Aldi weekend special have made it to the midday news while many sleep deprived folks are furious over the low stock, however my legendary hubby came out of ALDI with a tractor , a mercedes benz and a "dab" , "Oh yeah!" It is an early Christmas gift for the babies. Jet almost did a perfect cartwheel when he saw the big boxes waiting for him.
After charging the batteries all night I have suggested that we bring the cars to Holroyd Gardens in Merrylands. This park features a purpose built bike training track , a little road complete with runabouts , road signs , pedestrian lanes and cul de sac . The park also have a good playground , plenty of shades under the trees, picnic shelters and BBQ facilities .
At the edge of the park is the old Goodlet and Smith brickwork. Olden day machineries are left slowly rusting away as feature like an outdoor museum and remnants of the brick factory is still standing adding an interesting landscape . The pond is beautiful as the water glistened in the afternoon sun as cheerful little ducks swims by.
Now we just have to keep a close eye on our little boy , who think he's ready to drive out in the real world like a boss.
