Gingerbread ice cream cups with warm and apple and pear
We made so much gingerbread dough for the house ! and we don't want to waste such a good cookie dough we have been rolling out and baking gingerbread thins. Today while filling up the fruit basket I found two sad looking apples and 2 sad looking pears, they are still good to eat but the skin have turned dull. So i found a way for this fruit to be eaten turn them into a dessert that no one can resist.
Gingerbread ice cream cups with warm and apple and pear
Ingredients : Gingerbread cookie dough ( please visit our gingerbread rock post for the recipe)
2 apples and 2 pears
2 tablespoons brown sugar
a sprinkle of cinnamon
Vanilla ice Cream
To Make :
1.Roll out the gingerbread dough until thin , then cut out with a cookie cutter .
2. Place in small muffin tin and bake for 180 degrees C for 5-10 minutes till brown.
Cool in the wire racks.
3 Chop up the apples and pears place in a microwave safe bowl then add the sugar and the cinnamon and cook in the microwave for high in 4 -5 minutes until soft .
4. On the cookie cup spoon in the apple pear mix , top with a scoop of ice cream . Enjoy !
