National Arboretum
The National Arboretum is a growing forest of rare and endangered trees in Australia and around the world . You can drive, you can bike or take a hike in this 250 hectare reserve, the highest point of the arboretum is perfect view of our nation's capital city , Canberra.
The Cedar Forest was the perfect place to cook our BBQ lunch, it features a picnic platform under the fresh smelling cedar trees . And the toilets are amazingly futuristic its got automatic locking system and piped in music( no joke you have to check it out ).
And the most exciting feature for us is the Pod Playground. The kids was able to bring photos of this amazing playspace for their HSIE show and tell.
This beautiful view , electric BBQ , futuristic toilets with the music and most fun playground is all free . Thank God for our amazing nation's capital : Canberra!!!
