Unicorn Party

Starbucks baristas had lost it when they introduced the rainbow unicorn frappe, cakes with horn is all over Pinterest, Kmart and Target have printed this creature on their clothes . And so when we asked our princess what she wants for her birthday well it's just got to be a magical unicorn party !

We have booked a picnic shelter at Nurragingy Reserve in Doonside , the park have a lot of open space for playing and the shelters have nearby free BBQ facilities .

We have crafted for days , spend sleepless nights to create unicorn figurines . Here's what we have come up with

Our simple picnic spread , cheese and crackers , coldcuts , pickles ,crudites and hotdogs

This is my favorite gumpaste unicorn .

Cake pops are made with vanilla cake balls dipped in white candy melts.

These little fondant figurines are made by Dad we cant believe his big strong hands have created cutey little creatures .

We found the unicorn rocking horse and the white timber rack from a neighbor's garage sale all for $5. And below is a party box and stationery set from Kmart. The hanging pompoms and unicorns are also from Kmart .

I crafted a Unicorn Pinata from old boxes ( i named him Enrique , I was horrified when they started beating him, never to name a pinata again. )

And my eldest son have designed a lollipop holder .

It was a fun beautiful day at the park except of this was Enrique's last day .
