"Tale as old as time...." my favourite Disney Princess cartoon of all time is finally made into a movie. I recalled how I told the hair and makeup artist on my 18th birthday that I want my hair to be like Belle's . I'm so excited as now I have a daughter to watch it with, but the boys insist to come and since it's a very special movie for me we should watch it in LUX. So by train we travelled all the way to Chatswood .

Lux cinema is indeed the best seat in the house it features , you can eat in the cinema. However being with kids i don't think we can enjoy the movie if we are to bring in a full meal of course there will be spills and please pass the fries ... so just to be sure I asked the family if we can just eat before the show. The boys ordered the beef burger while my daughter and i shared the buffalo chicken tenders salt and pepper squid. The food took a while and we didn't had time for dessert before the movie starts .

I loved it how Disney made this classic animation into a real movie , loved every bit of the musical scene, my daughter enjoyed it too. The boys had fun singing " No one does everything like Gaston" , oh dear Disney ! they can write and sing about this villain .
After the movie on the way back to the train station they remembered dessert so of we climbed up to Passion Tree Cafe .

The berry waffles look ginormous , 3 stack of buttermilk waffles topped with a scoop of ice cream and berry sauce . The only fault is that I wished they used fresh berries and cut back on the sugar a bit. It was sickly sweet.

My daughter ordered a cookies and cream"bingsu" a Korean dessert made with shaved ice , I there's 2 ways to eat this thing , brain freeze as you much the ice or you can wait till the ice melts it will turn into a soupy dessert (jokes )!.
