Boxing Day at the Big Banana

It's Boxing Day and we are on our way home but first we have to make a stop to Big Banana , Coffs Harbour's unofficial national landmark , a theme park in a banana plantation it offers big fun for the whole family. There is a Candy Store that is loaded with all of the handmade sweetness , they can even personalised a rock candy ( order in advance ) and a Cheese Shop.

There is so much to do ,theres mini golf, ice skating rink , taboggan ride , water slide, laser skirmish. My daughter have insisted that we do the Banana Theatre and Plantation Tour .

We have watched a holographic show in the theatre about the history and importance of bananas and how banana was first planted at Coffs Harbour . After the show was the plantation self guided tour and a complementary banana.

We had lunch at the cafe and ordered a banana split and crepes the portion was quite generous we really have to split it .

It was quite a hot day so we skipped the taboggan ride and the waterslides and have decided to stay cool at the ice rink.

If you are travelling along Coffs Coast towards Queensland or if coming to Sydney from Queensland don't forget to stop by this important road trip landmark . Oops!we didn't take a full picture of it but surely you wont miss the Big Banana.
