House of Crabs

My dear hubby and i celebrates two wedding anniversaries, today is one of the two and we have decided to meet up after work to have dinner and get dirty at the House of Crabs (my work buddies thought that the restaurant sounds like STD, lol!) . House of Crabs is located on top of Norfolk Hotel in Cleveland Street Redfern, it's a bit of a stroll and kinda of in between Redfern and Central Station.

Going up to the top floor of the Norfolk hotel is like going down to Bikini bottom the quirky world of Spongebob Squarepants. We are greeted by a friendly host and served us a complimentary bucket of prawn chips and we ordered Passion Wagon Mocktail which was served in a fish bowl .

For the main meal my hubby ordered king crab with creole butter and cajun sauce while I picked snow crabs in garlic lemon pepper sauce. ( This is no place for fine dining, seafood are cooked and served in a bag and scissors will be your best choice for utensils). It was delicious .

We are so stuffed and decided to skip dessert , what a delicious fun dinner and the walk back to the train station was a struggle . We thought of just sleeping on the pub chair .
