Wascoe Siding

Once upon a time when my first born child was crazy about Thomas the Tank Engine , we used to take him to the Train Shed in Luddenham . It was a little theme park with the miniature trains from the " Island of Sodor" , There was Thomas , Percy , James , Annie and Clarabel... good old memories . The Train Shed have closed down to make way for the planes, Badgery's creek airport will soon be open in the west. One day Jet was playing with Jeremy's trains and thought how cool it is if you can really ride Thomas. So my google search has begun and found out that there are other Steam Locomotive Society around Sydney , awesome group of people who loves trains and there I found Wascoe Siding.

Operated by the Blue Mountains Railway Society , Wascoe Siding is located in Glenbrook Village . The entry to the park is free ! and train rides are $3 ( and I heard that if you go there on your birthday with a group friends you can ride the train free all day) , Trains are running every first Sunday of the month . It's good to come early as it is very popular party place for young boys , You can bring a picnic or have lunch at the cafe. It has been a fun day at the Wascoe Siding and may they continue to bring joy to young kids and big kids who loves train ... Chooo Chooo!
