Sea World San Diego
This is the last generation of killer whales in captivity as Seaworld promised , we must see it before the kids grow up and before the whales go we must see it. Celebrating it's 50th year we have came at the right time as kids come in free
adult ticket cost $89 USD.
Seaworld is very strict when it comes to plastic bag as it is danger to the creatures that leaves here. The lovely parked attendant have noticed the amount of luggage and bags with us and have made a special arrangement to keep our stuff in the office ( for free we didn't have to hire the locker) so we can enjoy walking in the park.
Killer whales are magnificent creatures I personally have a mixed feeling about coming here , as a little child it was one of my dreams to see one close after watching the movie Free Willy yet there's sadness as they belong to the great big ocean.
This whale is very cheeky it would randomly stalked and splash the people as they made their way to find a seat at the stadium.
The dolphins here are not as popular as the orcas , there was almost no rules to how close you can get, some kids even have placed their hands in the pool without being told off , unlike in Seaworld Gold coast where dolphin enclosures are highly guarded .
The Arctic exhibits animals from the icy part of the world , there's polar bear, penguins and a white whale . After the animal shows we have went to the rides . The Journey to Atlantis was the most awesome and scary at the same time , the roller coaster car has gone through an elevator to be dropped down the tower. I thought i have to hold on to my heart as we descended .
We are blessed to experience this amazing place and hope that Seaworld would keep it's high standard and promise to care for the magnificent sea creatures great and small.
This ends the San Diego leg of our trip , we asked the taxi to drop us of to San Diego Old Town station to catch the train to Anaheim.
